During the course of signing, the Executive Director of FARA, Dr. Yemi Akinbamijo said; “there could not have been a better day, a better time to do what we want to do. This is something that has been very clear to FARA-AGRA and we want to demonstrate our common aspiration, our common goal and in a common quest to seek a food secure Africa where Agriculture is leap-frogged, enhanced, catalyzed and encouraged to play its supposed role in the socio-economic life of Africa. Hence, one more alliance needed in this quest of the aforementioned is the FARA-AGRA alliance”.
