Christabel Efua Essel is a language specialist with more than twenty-eight years of experience in translation. She is currently serving as Translator at FARA where she translates, reviews and proof-reads technical documents, newsletters, press releases, annual and research reports. She also serves as a liaison between FARA and interpreters during conferences, workshops and Board meetings.
Before joining FARA in 2006, she worked at the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) regional office for Africa in Accra and with a number of local and international organisations in Senegal and in Ghana mainly as a Freelance Translator. Christabel holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in English from the Cheikh Anta Diop University of Dakar, Senegal. She is a member of the Ghana Association of Translators and Interpreters (GATI).
