Mr Christophe Larose currently serves in the Directorate-General for Development and International Cooperation (EuropeAid) of the European Commission, Brussels where he oversees sustainable agriculture which includes innovation, research, and digitalization in agriculture. He coordinates the CAADP-XP4 project within the DeSIRA initiative and others. Mr Larose holds a master’s degree in development economics from the University of Auvergne, France (1996). He has been involved in consultancy work and joined the European Commission as an administrator in 2003. He has been posted to several European Union Delegations: Mauritius (with responsibilities over Seychelles, Comoros and India), Madagascar, and South Africa.
